Hello, I’m Garry
Hello there! My name is Garry Janes, the owner of Go Wild At The Warren!
I have a very much hands-on, friendly approach and I will be accompanying each and every experience and adventure no matter how small. I am always on hand to offer advice on trips and ensures your booking proceeds seamlessly.
I have spent the majority of my life travelling the world, visiting some of the worlds most remote places from the coldest Arctic to the jungles of Borneo. I have also climbed some of the worlds highest peaks. I have extensive climbing, mountaineering, survival and medical skills. I am also a qualified ski instructor, first Aid, PADI qualified diver and instructor. I have been taught by some of the world’s leading bushcraft/survival instructors, including the TV personality Ray Mears.
I feel my positive attitude combined with expedition skills and knowledge make me an invaluable member of the team.
About our estate
Go Wild At the Warren is the name of our beautiful adventure park very close to the Ashdown forest called the Go Wild Estate.
Currently our activities comprise of various shooting experiences (ages 10 years upwards), archery, axe throwing, nerf wars, gelsoft games, attack sense electronic target shooting, bushcraft courses, bushcraft cooking courses and forest bathing We have a beautiful yurt with a hot tub in a very secluded off grid location on our estate which is available to hired a small cafe. Our long term vision is to offer everyone including our local community somewhere to come and enjoy our countryside whilst have the most awesome fun for all ages.
We also offer a bring your own air rifle facility (probably the best in the UK), we run safety and awareness course for firearms certification assistance, and humane dispatch courses.
